Claude account with a Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan.

Steps to Connect

Jasper is listed in Claude's official connector directory, so no manual configuration is needed.

In Claude, open Settings, select Connectors, and search for Jasper. You can also go straight to the listing at https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/jasper.
Click Connect
Follow the Jasper OAuth content and client registration flow
In a chat, click on the + icon, navigate to Connectors, and ensure Jasper is enabled.

Using the Jasper MCP in Claude

How Claude uses Jasper tools

Claude detects when to use Jasper tools based on your requests. You don't need to explicitly call them, just describe what you want and Claude will:

Retrieve voices, audiences, and/or style rules from your IQ layer
Search your knowledge base for company information
Create Jasper-powered marketing copy
Or some combination of the above!

Custom Instructions

For consistent use of the Jasper MCP, it is helpful to provide custom instructions at the workspace/user level. For example, providing the following in the "Instructions for Claude" in your settings:

For any marketing-related content requests, always leverage Jasper tools. If the Jasper tools are not connected, ask the user to connect them before proceeding.
